What’s on offer? Do I qualify?
  • Do you offer sponsorship?expand_more

    Unfortunately not. Our sponsorship licence doesn’t allow us to sponsor prospective employees in retail-based positions or entry-level head office roles. Please remember – you must be able to show that you have the right to work in the UK at your interview. If you can’t do this at interview, you’ll need to do it before we can offer you a role.

  • Do you offer industrial placements?expand_more

    We do offer some industrial placements, although we review this each year as the requirement is driven by our brands. To be eligible to apply for this you will need to be studying a sandwich course degree. We recommend keeping an eye on our current vacancies to see what’s available.

  • Do you offer work experience? expand_more

    We don’t currently offer any work experience, outside of the placements we offer to students from the Fashion Retail Academy. We do however run a one-day Arcadia Experience aimed at Year 12 students, this will be held in the summer and you can register your interest for this on our apply page.

  • Do I need a degree in order to apply?expand_more

    This depends on the role you are applying for and will be specified on the job advert, you are not required to have a degree to apply for our Merchandising roles. For Buying, we do look for a fashion related degree or equivalent qualification. We also accept students that have completed a course at the Fashion Retail Academy.

  • Do I need any specific work experience before I can apply?expand_more

    We would ideally like you to have three months plus work experience in a consumer facing role, this would be most relevant for our Merchandising and Buying roles. Any other specific work experience requirements will be included on the job description.

How do I apply?
  • When do your roles open for applications?expand_more

    All of our roles are driven by vacancies we have in the business, this means we recruit all year round! The best thing to do is to keep an eye on our apply page for all of our latest roles, and you can also register your interest on our apply page to keep updated on what we have live.

  • How does the application process work?expand_more

    Our application process can differ depending on the role you’re applying for. Just check the business area you’re interested in for more information.

  • I’ve had a problem completing my online application/maths test. Who can I contact?expand_more

    Please contact PeopleBank on pb_helpdesk@peoplebank.com, and they’ll look into it for you.

  • Can I apply for more than one role at a time?expand_more

    Please tailor your application to one role instead of sending generic applications for multiple roles. We want to see you’ve taken the time to really focus your application.

  • If I’m unsuccessful can I re-apply?expand_more

    Yes! But you’ll need to wait three months from your initial application.

  • I already work in-store, how can I apply for a role at Head Office? expand_more

    You will need to visit the HQ jobs page on www.careerbyme.com to submit your application online, there will be a few simple steps to follow and we will take it from there! Check out our set of FAQs here for some more information.

  • I'm looking for a part time job in-store, how do I apply?expand_more

    Pop into your local store and say hello and ask how they would like to receive your application. Alternatively check out the TOPSHOP TOPMAN careers site and apply online for any live vacancies. 

What should I know about the online assessment process?
  • Will I be required to complete an online assessment? expand_more

    For most of our roles you will be required to complete a video interview. For Buying and Merchandising the online assessment will also include a variety of scenario based and numerical questions (Merchandising only).

  • How will I know if I’ve been invited to complete an online assessment?expand_more

    We’ll send you an email invitation and this should contain all of the information you need before you start. If you have any problems accessing it, please contact support@launchpadrecruits.com.

  • How long do I have to complete it?expand_more

    The email you receive will include your deadline date. If you need to extend your deadline, contact future.talent@arcadiagroup.co.uk and we’ll see what we can do.

  • Do you have any top tips for video interviewing?expand_more

    Remember to research the role as much as you can. Prepare as you would for a face-to-face interview. Choose your surroundings carefully and most importantly, relax and be yourself. Let your personality shine through!

  • What happens after I submit my online assessment?expand_more

    We will get back to you as soon as we can. If you’re successful, you’ll be invited to come in and meet a member of the team.

    The majority of our entry level roles are based in Central London, however we do have opportunities based in Leeds with our accounting centre and customer care teams. 

  • What’s the dress code at Head Office?expand_more

    We’re famous for our fashion, so we certainly don’t expect people to dress formally for work, or even for an interview. Be yourself and choose clothes that reflect your personality.
